Michelle Weavil | Rehab Specialist
Michelle was in her 20s when she began exercising and running. Since the experience felt so amazing, she decided she wanted to understand more about the body on a cellular level so she went back to college to study exercise. When she was a child, Michelle dreamed of being a beach lifeguard because she loved the water. While that didn’t happen, a long career around exercise and fitness is fulfilling a great desire to help others live their best lives ever.
Attending UNC at Greensboro, Michelle has been a certified Exercise Physiologist since 2005. She has a BS in Exercise and Sports Sciences with a concentration in Fitness Leadership from UNCG. She is also an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and has maintained that certification since 2005. What that means is she completed 60 Continuing Education Credits in order to qualify to renew her certification every two years since 2005.
With her deep understanding of exercise, Michelle is able to teach others how movement, balance and a personalized exercise program can bring increased strength no matter what one’s age might be.
Michelle sees herself as a team player and cheerleader and she believes her greatest gift to the world is kindness. Michelle loves working with patients at KCC, appreciating the positive, wellness oriented environment.
