In July of 2017, Dr. Claire Kacena will be joining Korwitts Chiropractic as the third provider on staff and is passionate about helping others obtain their personal health and wellness goals. After earning her bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Loyola University, Dr. Claire went on to pursue her doctorate degree in Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Illinois. While in school she was active in the Student American Chiropractic Association, received additional coursework and training in Chiropractic rehabilitation and continues to be active in the American Chiropractic Association. After practicing for two years in the state of Oregon, she is excited to be back and practicing in her home state.
Dr. Claire’s main goal as a healthcare provider is to deliver patient-centered care that encompasses trust and collaboration by both doctor and patient. While it is the responsibility of the provider to educate and teach, it is just as necessary for the patient to learn and comply as part of a team effort for success. Through the use of various techniques in addition to traditional Chiropractic care, she also utilizes soft tissue modalities, nutrition, and exercise/rehab to target and encompass the body as a whole in order to help her patients achieve optimal wellness.
Dr. Claire resides in Lombard with her family and is a proud mom to her Labrador mix, Koda. In her spare time, she loves to travel, hike, snowboard, camp, and just spend quality time with her family and friends.
